How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation Stages?

We used blogger as a planner/diary for each step we have made to make sure we were on track. We also used blogger to; post audience questionnaires, help us plan and decide what we were going to place in the video, we recorded our findings and used some of the feedback from the questionnaire, to improve part of the video.

We used YouTube to look at different clips for inspiration, YouTube has a good system as the amount of views tells us video popularity and there are areas to comment and leave feedback.

We surfed the internet to find band information, we looked for feedback on; Myspace and twitter when we were looking for a band to use for our video performance, we used Myspace to look into contacting the band to ask for permission to use there song, and we used Facebook to gain feedback on rough cuts of the video t enable us to improve the quality of our piece.

We used a Sony Handy Cam to take footage of our performance and used the college Apple Macintosh computers to edit we used the program 'final cut express' this program was a very good tool for piecing our performance together, through this program we could use skills to change setting colours and to use fade ins and out, we could also add different speeds to the shots for different parts so we could slow the footage down and adjust the speed.

For our Digipack we thought up out ideas, then took pictures with a digital camera and finally enhanced them using a program called photo shop. It was a handy tool to make the pictures more exciting and to give them a better colour clarity.
